33RD ANNUAL TEXAS PACKARD MEET

INFORMATION SHEET
Dear Packard Enthusiast:
It’s registration time for the 33rd Annual Texas Packard Meet, a family oriented meet co-sponsored by ARKLATEX PACKARDS, HEART OF TEXAS PACKARDS, LONE STAR PACKARDS AND PACKARDS NORTH TEXAS. IT WILL BE HELD AT THE STAGECOACH INN IN SALADO, TEXAS. PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 19TH; ON SITE REGISTRATION WILL BE $25.00. Salado is located on IH 35, just 53 miles north of Austin. We encourage folks from out of state to come and experience our Texas hospitality.
This meet is a NON-JUDGED event. Participants shall choose their favorite Packard in each classification. First and second place awards will be given in each class. There will be overall top choice awards in the pre-war and post-war eras.
Registration fees and dinner costs appear on the enclosed registration form. FAMILY REGISTRATION INCLUDES INDIVIDUAL WITH SPOUSE OR GUEST (SIGNIFICANT OTHER) AND MINOR CHILDREN. Dinner includes appetizer, salad, entrée, 2 sides, hot rolls, dessert and coffee or tea (no appetizer for children; comes with fruit cup and dessert). A CHILD’S PLATE IS FOR ONE WHO IS 12 OR UNDER.
PLEASE NOTE THE FRIDAY NIGHT BUFFET: It will include beef stroganoff, salad, buttered noodles, vegetable, rolls, dessert and coffee or tea. The buffet will be in the Longhorn Room, and serving will begin at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to BE ON TIME so you won’t miss your meal. THERE WILL BE NO ON SITE REGISTRATION FOR THE BUFFET. ALL BUFFET MEALS MUST BE SELECTED ON THE PRE-REGISTRATION FORM.
Room reservations must be made directly with the Stagecoach Inn at
1-800-732-8994 or 1-254-947-5111. NOTE, NO PETS PLEASE. Since many
of the people make their reservations for the next year at the end of each meet, the Stagecoach Inn may be full (please put your name on the waiting list). You may contact the nearby motel across IH 35 – Super 8 Motel – at 1-254-947-5000. THE MANAGEMENT OF THE STAGECOACH INN ENCOURAGES PERSONS WHO WILL NOT BE NEEDING THEIR RESERVATIONS TO RELEASE THE ROOMS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO AS TO MAKE THEM AVAILABLE TO SOMEONE ON THE WAITING LIST.
We plan to have an EARLY BIRD TOUR again this year for those of you who arrive on Thursday. The tour group will leave the Stagecoach Inn at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
Registration will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and reopen at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning in the lobby of the Stagecoach Inn.
The hospitality room will be located in the Convention Center. The Friday night buffet, followed by the National Board Meeting, will be in the Longhorn Room, located in the Convention Center. Saturday’s events include the swap meet, car display for you to choose your favorites, tech sessions, dinner and awards program. The business meeting will be in the Longhorn Room on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.
